Rain Falls (#1)
India Bell is looking for a regular writing gig to supplement her royalties. She ends up with two assignments - one, to interview up-and-coming lesbian romance writer Tegan Lowry, and the other? To win a bet to write her own lesbian romance, thus securing for herself a job as an editor.
There's a bit of an issue with the second of those. India writes science fiction, not romance. There's none of that confusing touchy-feely stuff in her science fiction novels. Hell, she doesn't even read romance, and as for the lesbian aspect, she's not sure how to define her sexuality, but if she's a lesbian, then she's so far in the closet, she doesn't even know where the door is. Maybe Tegan could give her some pointers on writing all those sex scenes she's probably going to have to stick in there?
Tegan is thrilled to be interviewed, even by the awkward and socially-inept India. Not that Tegan views herself as anyone's fantasy - she's on crutches, and who would be interested in a cripple? Her deeply romantic fantasies are all lived out on the page. But when India suddenly asks if Tegan will join her in her writing cabin to get some serious work done, she jumps at the chance to leave her horrible basement apartment behind to concentrate on her writing in comfort and peace, with the fascinating, if rather emotionally-unavailable, India Bell.
In the gorgeous cabin on the outskirts of the small tourist town of Rain Falls, Colorado, the two women find themselves struggling with temptation and a stalker who insists on interfering. It's a situation they never thought they'd find outside of a romance novel.

I feel like the characters are old friends by the time I finish her stories. The humor is quite amusing. I will definitely search out other books by this author.Product details

Wow! Just great. Start to finish. The stories grab your attention and keep it. I loved Tegan and India. Thanks for letting the whole family into the story.
Loved this trilogy. I could not put the book(s) down, as soon as I finished one I bought the next. These stories have a little bit of EVERYTHING...romantic, funny, serious...and very sexy.
This author writes with tenderness and humor and language skills. Thanks for these! I hope you will rediscover a need to publish more.
The book and the second half of the second we really good and great beach summer beach reads. Totally relatable and actually quite enjoyable but the second half of the 2nd book and the third just got too far out there and I think the author was stretching to keep the storylines going. After awhile there was too much going on and I just didn't really care for all the other characters issues that were dropped in.
Read all three books, enthusiastically only to be disappointed at the end.
Main subject is love and lust comes in all shapes and sizes. Or, a writer's life is unpredictable. Or, everything happens for a reason.
Book one and two, four or five stars would be good, but book three ... Hence the provided rating.
Well written, as far as spelling and vocabulary. Carefully written, with round characters, not so funny as it was intended. To many changes in direction and sometimes predictable. Moved smoothly and let itself be understood.
Would like to recommend the book, but do not wish to play with a readers expectation. Book and two is mainly about love and breaking barriers. Book three love challenges, uses and whatever.....

This series was really good— entertaining stories with A good book with a comfortable balance of sex & romance about the discovery, uncertainty & passion of a relationship between two women— both from their memories & histories of nonsocial isolations, insecurities & vulnerabilities as they attempt to find love & family in each other that can overcome & complete each other!!
The 1st two were great stories, but the 3rd had so little of Tegan & India as it focused on the other people in Rain Falls that it was almost like it didn't belong in this series but more of a standalone.
Halfway thrum the first book the download has every other page blank. Story was just getting good and now I think I am missing too much to try to continue.
